We offer a wide range of premium Indian rice, including:
- Basmati Rice – 1121, 1401, and 1509 varieties in White Sella, Creamy Sella, White Steam, and Creamy Steam versions; plus Golden Sella Basmati (1121/1509/1718)
- Non-Basmati Rice – IR 64 Raw White Rice and IR 64 Parboiled Rice
Rice Grain lengths vary by variety:
- 1121 – 8.35 to 8.42 mm (extra long grain)
- 1509 – 8.20 to 8.40 mm
- 1401 – 7.70 to 8.00 mm
- Most Basmati varieties: maximum 12% to 13%
- IR 64 (Non-Basmati): maximum 14%
This ensures optimal shelf life and grain quality.
- Purity: minimum 92–95% depending on the variety
- Broken grains: maximum 1–5% (lower for premium steam grades)
- Zero black grains in select premium varieties (e.g., 1509 Creamy Steam, 1509 White Steam)
- Sella (Parboiled) rice is soaked, steamed under pressure, and dried before milling. It has a firmer texture and longer shelf life.
- Steam rice is processed with gentle steaming, preserving a stronger natural Basmati aroma and a softer bite after cooking.
- Creamy variants have an ivory/pale tone; White variants have a brighter, whiter appearance.
Golden Sella is a deeply parboiled variety with a clear golden grain colour (up to 8.40 mm), silky polish, and notable post-cook elongation. It is popular in South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
IR 64 is a non-Basmati rice with a shorter grain (6.00–6.40 mm). It is available in raw white and parboiled forms, with broken percentages ranging from 5% to 25% (and up to 100% broken). It is best suited for mass-market buyers in Africa, the Gulf, and Asia, as well as food aid programmes.
